If you want to open the Color Settings dialog box, go to Image → Adjustments→ Color Settings.
* **Resize** You have the option of resizing an image to a certain size and quality setting. Your options are to specify pixels, percentages, and a size range, all of which produce an image with a defined resolution.
* **Edit** (Figure 2-5). You open this tab to view and edit various tools for removing or adding details to the image. For example, you can make the image text clearer by applying a new typeface or by changing its color. You can also move or rotate an object or crop the image.
Figure 2-5. Most of the tools for editing images—like the Move tool and the Crop tool—are available here. If you click the Offset box, you can create a new path object for editing, instead of directly scaling the new path. Once a path object is created, it can be manipulated exactly like any other object in the Layers panel.
To edit, click the tool you want to use from the Tools panel, or choose it from the Tools panel menu (e.g., the Pencil, the Type tool, and so on). Figure 2-5, for example, shows the Crop tool.

After a fight with his girlfriend, a man used the cash in his wallet to pay the bus fare to leave her. He ended up in jail.
Why does this story sound familiar? It should, of course — it’s a remake of a very well-known story.
The twist here is that the man, Juan Ruiz, was locked up for being poor.
That is the key factor in “The Wall,” a new documentary about a 15-year-old from a city in North Carolina.
Meagan Hatcher, a 15-year-old eighth grader at Chowan County Middle School in the town of Shallotte, told her teachers she wanted to leave the school, but when she attempted to do so, school officials put her in a juvenile detention center.

Hatcher had a complicated family life, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. Her mother was a drug addict who recently lost custody of her children.
“She’s just a mess,” Hatcher said.
Hatcher first began ditching classes several years ago. She fell into a bad relationship and said she was suicidal.
She was also addicted to vaping and felt hopeless.
“It sucks,” Hatcher told her teachers. “I just don’t want to be in school anymore.”
When she threatened to quit, the school responded by putting her in a juvenile detention center for two days.
Soon, Hatcher’s family learned what was going on and what they could do to help. They settled on an idea: If the school placed the child in a juvenile detention center, her parents would just have to pay for her meals, which were about $8 a day.
When Hatcher was released, she was placed in a new program at a different school.
She was so grateful for her mom and dad’s effort to get her a better life that she got a tattoo that said “Free Meal Ticket.”
As a sophomore, Hatcher has been in school regularly and has made A’s in her classes. Her teachers think she would not have done well if she had not been able to pay her way through school
What’s New in the?
It was dubbed the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’. David Cameron became the first prime minister in a generation to suffer a Commons defeat and he was punished by having his new boundary reform voted on. It was a decision which contributed heavily to his election defeat that summer. The referendum in Scotland on having a new post-devolution Scotland had been called by Alex Salmond and the SNP-led government. But with the EU vote following shortly after, the very first general election I was going to cover was already taking place.
This was the May 2010 election. It followed a hung parliament after the 2010 general election, in which the Conservatives lost their majority. As the then-new interim Speaker, I was delighted to see Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats, who had formed a coalition government with the Conservatives, become the first party to win an outright majority for the first time since 1974. The Liberal Democrats were elected on a promise of a referendum on the terms of any continued EU membership for the UK. It would be a clear referendum on continued membership of the EU – a situation which had not existed for nearly 40 years. This set-up would be used by the Conservatives when David Cameron called a national referendum on the EU in the following year.
The Lib Dems were, in fact, hoping for a role in government of some kind – something which was to be denied them by the referendum which followed. Regardless of the referendum result, the coalition with the Conservatives would be the shortest-lived in British political history. It was called into being by the worst catastrophe to befall British politics since the conflict of civil war. It was a debt crisis which saw the British government enter into a relationship with the European Union called the ‘joint venture’. It is, frankly, a nearly uninterpretable term which now seems to be the price that Europe’s leaders have decreed of the British taxpayer.
The 2010 election was not supposed to take place. After the collapse of an economic plan by Gordon Brown in 2008, some, in particular the Conservative Party, had wanted to force Brown to resign and form a new government. But that did not happen, and in the 2010 election the focus would be the economy. With the government’s ratings below 30 per cent, the Conservatives wanted to concentrate on the economic deficit. However, it was Labour, led by Ed Miliband, who were perceived as being the weaker, more inexperienced alternative. As the date for the election was
