Wastelands is a 2D single player tower defense game with real-time FPS gameplay.
Your goal in the game is to defend your base and gather resources from the enemies to create weapons and structures and build a castle.

Instructions of how to play Wastelands:
1. Click the left mouse button to select an object of the game.
2. If you plan to move an object that has already been selected, then release the left mouse button, hold it and click on the object that you want to move.
3. Hold the left mouse button and use the scroll wheel of the mouse to rotate the selected object.
4. Hold the left mouse button down and drag the selected object to any location on the map to move it.
5. The red area (crosshairs) shows the movement area of the selected object.
6. When you plan to attack an enemy, click the spacebar to activate an attack.
7. You can’t block an attack while it is being carried out.
8. You have to hold your mouse button down to destroy a wall.
9. You can’t fire a weapon while you are on the ground.
10. You can’t move during a pause.
11. The numbers on the top of the screen show the time left for the game to end.

Gather Resources:
You can get resources to build weapons from the enemies. If you are the only one defending your base, use your towers to kill them and get their weapons.

Upgrade your weapons:
You can create weapons at the lab with resources obtained from enemies. You can also upgrade your weapons in the workshop.

Defense and Attack:
Your job is to defend your base and attack the enemies when they attack you. You can fire bullets, attack/block, heal or make a potion from health potions.

Hints of how to play Wastelands:
1. When you are on the map, click on the toolbox on the bottom-left side to load weapons/cards.
2. If you are attacked by an enemy, your health will be decreased and you will lose some points. When you get any enemies nearby, they will start to attack you.
3. Remember that if you have a weapon equipped, you can attack with it in any time frame, when you hit an enemy while he is attacking you, the weapon will be activated and you will get its benefit.

A very solid expansion for Dominion. I really appreciate how they added very helpful underhanded actions like doubling down on a card, or taking the extra time to read the action cards. The board additions are simple and very helpful in dealing with multiple simultaneous actions. In particular, the new lower cost action cards are quite useful. I can think of a number of times that I would have liked to have a lower cost underhanded action, and this expansion gave me just what I was looking for.

My favorite additions to the game are the doubler cards. I am definitely going to be using these more in the future. In addition to the added value of having duplicate copies of your pieces, I like the added intrigue in the game. If one of my own pieces is being played, and I need to defeat the opponent, I would rather have the chance of really underhanded action, such as a double to get one card played, instead of the opponent drawing a couple extra cards or taking a couple of tricks.

-Threat levels are built into the cards themselves. If you play a card that is not underhanded, you can choose how hard it is to get rid of the threat level. What makes it more fun is that when your threat level is high, the low level of cards still increases the value of the threat cards.

-One more thing that is quite fun is that each card has an inherent theme. For example, a common that is painted with a snake or some other predator symbol would be more likely to hurt you than others. The collectors of Intrigue are certainly going to enjoy these, as the rat and mouse symbols are quite popular.

The base set of Intrigue is solid, but does have a number of its own problems. The most glaring one is the trap cards. There are a number of trap cards that can remove a card from the board, as well as from your deck. The board is a bit more complex than the previous sets, and traps are very helpful to remove cards that you don’t want to play, but they really detracted from the board in my opinion. The traps are also not balanced. Many are too expensive, and others have too many abilities, as you would expect with a card that can be used in any phase.
